You / Your / Visitor: Anyone who visits a website using the Snag a Slot widget, whether they are booking a slot, submitting their email, or interacting with the booking interface.
User / Account Holder / Site Owner: The person or organization who has signed up for Snag a Slot, embedded the widget on their website, and offers slots for booking. This is the entity that receives payments and manages their own booking policies.
We / Us / Our / Snag a Slot: The company providing the Snag a Slot service, including the widget, scheduling platform, and associated software. We process minimal data necessary to operate the service, manage tokens, and facilitate email verification.
Third Parties: External providers integrated with the service, such as Google (Calendar API), Brevo (for email verification), and PayPal (for payment processing). These parties handle data as part of their services and are subject to their own privacy policies.
1. Service Overview
Snag a Slot allows you to embed a booking widget on your website so that visitors can reserve time directly in your Google Calendar. Slots can be free or paid. The service facilitates scheduling, calendar syncing, and payment processing through third-party providers.
2. Liability
The service is provided as-is. Snag a Slot is not responsible for any losses, damages, disputes, or errors related to bookings, payments, or calendar syncing. Users are solely responsible for refunds, cancellations, and any customer disputes. We recommend displaying a clear policy on your website.
3. Payments
All payments are processed exclusively via PayPal and go directly to you. Snag a Slot does not handle or manage payments, refunds, or chargebacks.
4. Third-Party Services
The platform uses the following third-party services:
- Google Calendar API: Adds events to your calendar, including optional Hangouts/Meet links.
- Brevo (Sendinblue): Sends verification emails to visitors.
- PayPal: Processes payments.
Snag a Slot is not responsible for downtime, errors, or changes to these services.
5. Cookies & Data
We use minimal cookies to enhance visitor experience and maintain session functionality. User data is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Sensitive financial data is never stored by Snag a Slot.
6. Beta Notice
Snag a Slot is currently in beta. Users must refresh their Google Calendar access token at least once every 7 days until full approval by Google is obtained. Beta users may encounter bugs or limitations. We strive to fix issues promptly, but no guarantees are made.
7. User Responsibilities
- You must have the rights to offer the slots and accept payments.
- You are responsible for communicating your booking and refund policies.
- You must comply with applicable laws, including GDPR where relevant.
- You retain ownership of your slot names, descriptions, and branding.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or misuse the service.
9. Limitation of Liability
In no event will Snag a Slot, its owners, or affiliates be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of revenue, profits, or data arising from your use of the service.
10. Privacy Policy
We collect only essential information to facilitate bookings. Minimal cookies are used to maintain sessions. We use Brevo to handle verification of emails. No sensitive payment information is stored; payments are handled via PayPal. Google Calendar API is used solely to find availability and insert events into your calendar. 11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be resolved in the relevant courts.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Snag a Slot reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, including features, pricing, availability, or functionality.
